Private transfer, airport taxi or shared shuttle: what to compare
The right airport transport depends on your group and itinerary. A private transfer, an airport taxi and a shared shuttle are different service formats. This guide explains the questions to ask; it does not claim that every operator offers the same conditions.
Start with who shares the vehicle
With our private transfer, the vehicle is reserved for the party on your booking. A shared service may carry other travelers and make stops for several accommodations. Ask the operator about its actual route and waiting arrangements rather than assuming that every shuttle is direct.
For an airport taxi, confirm the operator, destination and price basis before starting the journey. If booking a taxi in advance, ask what identifies the booked driver and how arrival changes are handled. A service label alone does not establish all of its terms.
Compare a total, not two different price units
Check whether the quoted amount is per passenger or per vehicle and whether it covers one journey or a return. A family of several passengers should compare the total for the complete party. Check the currency and the exact airport and hotel in every offer.
Our quote depends on the actual route, vehicle and passenger count, and reservations are for individual journeys. The same approved vehicle fare applies to the reverse direction of that route. We do not publish estimated competitor prices or promise that one format is always cheaper.
Check luggage and child-seat requirements
A vehicle can have enough passenger seats while lacking space for a particular combination of large bags, a stroller or sports equipment. Describe those needs before booking. Include children in the passenger count and ask about child-seat availability and requirements in advance.
For our fleet, the stated passenger limits are 3 for Sedan, 6 for Mini Van, 12 for Van, and 6 for either Suburban class. These are passenger capacities, not a promise about every luggage arrangement. Choose the vehicle shown in the booking flow and ask if you are uncertain.
Ask what happens when plans change
Provide the arriving flight number for a prebooked airport pickup. We track arriving flights, but need you to report changes of flight number, airport or travel date. Ask any operator how it communicates its meeting point and how you can reach support if you cannot locate the driver.
For a hotel-to-airport journey, agree the pickup details for your departure itinerary. Keep the date and hotel precise. Book our service at least 12 hours in advance rather than treating a general transport guide as a last-minute availability promise.
Check payment and keep one clear booking
Our checkout offers online payment through the options displayed, or Pay Cash to Driver. Cash reservations remain due until the driver receives payment. A confirmation number identifies the reservation and should be kept with the itinerary.
If a payment result is uncertain, return to the existing booking or contact support rather than submitting a second independent reservation. For questions about a quote, include the airport, exact hotel, group size and vehicle needs so the team can discuss the real journey.
Frequently asked questions
Is a private transfer always faster than every other option?
A private booking avoids sharing your vehicle with unrelated parties, but journey time still depends on the route, traffic and arrival circumstances. We do not guarantee a universal time advantage.
Are your transfers shared?
Our transfer service is private for the party named on the reservation. The shared-shuttle discussion is a comparison to help you understand other service formats.
How do I decide which vehicle to book?
Use the passenger limits shown in the quote form, consider your luggage and ask about additional needs before reserving. Do not select a smaller vehicle just to force a lower quote.
